Fans are excited to see the next "Hunger Games" film adaption. However, one celebrity is so excited that he even wants to be a part of the film.
According to E! Online, "Hangover" star Bradley Cooper wants a role in the "Catching Fire" movie.
"I have now seen Hunger Games," Cooper said at Monday's Hollywood Film Awards, where he was honored with the Hollywood Actor Award. "That is a brutal movie. Are you kidding me?...Oh, my God!"
He said he's not surprised Lawrence could play "bad a**" so well. "She's amazing," Cooper said. He co-stars with the Katniss actress in two upcoming films, "The Silver Linings Playbook" and "Serena." However, he wants to co-star with her in "Catching Fire" too.
"You know, I've put myself on tape for four of the roles. I haven't heard back yet," Cooper joked.
Speaking of cast members, Liam Hemsworth, who plays Gale in all the "Hunger Games" films, recently said that he was injured on set during a dramatic stunt in Atlanta, Georgia last week, where filming is currently taking place.
''I twisted my knee. I try to just fight through it. There's so many people standing around waiting for you to do your thing. You feel sort of obligated not to let everyone down," he told USA Today, according to National Ledger. ''There's a bunch of action in this one. All of the characters have much more action than they did in the first one.''
On a lighter note though, the 22-year-old actor said that he had to stick to a healthy diet to slim down for the movie.
''It's 'The Hunger Games'. My character needs to look hungry. A little bit,'' he said.
For "Catching Fire," Lionsgate announced that it started principal photography for the second "Hunger Games" movie on Sept. 10 in Atlanta, Georgia. Then, the film will subsequently be shot on location in the beaches and jungles of Hawaii before wrapping in late December, 2012.
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is described:
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.
May the odds be ever in your favor to watch "Catching Fire" on Nov. 22, 2013!
