Honey Boo Boo Child is officially famous: Someone broke into the pint-sized reality star's Georgia home. The beauty queen's home was broken into on Aug. 27 while the family was out of town, Celebuzz confirmed.

When the family -- stars of TLC's new breakout reality series "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" -- returned home, June "Mama" Shannon, contacted local police to report a possible break-in after she noticed something was amiss at the house. The side door of her residence was open, according to the police report. Chief Amerson of the McIntyre Police said the incident was treated as a burglary, but nothing was stolen. "There were no signs of forced entry and nothing was missing," confirmed Amerson.

So are people breaking in just to gawk at the Honey Bo Boo family mansion? Sounds like Alana and the rest of the family have finally arrived to us. Either that or the "thieves" realized there wasn't much point to stealing 400 rolls of two-ply toilet paper. In which case, ingenious home security, Honey Boo Boo clan.

According to the police report, the seven-year-old star and her family - comprised of mother June "Mama" Shannon, 33, father Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, 40, and sisters Anna "Chickadee" Shannon, 17, Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, 15, and Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, 12 - have been provided with a security detail by the local police department.

The officer assigned to the family arrived at the home before they returned from their trip, to make sure everything was safe. There, the officer discovered the door leading into the kitchen was left ajar.

Although the door was unlocked, no intruders were actually found inside the home, according to the report.

The report also states that Shannon told police something was wrong when she saw that the kitchen cabinets were open. "The kitchen cabinets were left open and she (Shannon) stated that to her knowledge the doors to the cabinets were closed when they left," says the police report.

Since it premiered in August, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," which follows the life of former "Toddles & Tiaras" star Alana Thompson and her family, has become a nationwide phenomenon with more than 2.1 million viewers tuning into its Sept. 13 episode. The show even topped all individual cable and network broadcasts of the Republican National Convention on Aug. 19 with a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49.

A source says the cast -- including Alana's 17-year-old sister, who recently gave birth to her first child -- is now asking for a $10,000-an-episode payday. However, another insider suggests the family will most likely land closer to an $8,000-an-episode salary after negotiations with the network conclude. The show's six-episode first season ends with a one-hour season finale Sept. 26.

TLC has declined to comment yet on a possible second season or salaries. Although, Discovery Communications president Eileen O'Neill told The Hollywood Reporter that a second season of the series was very likely, but no final decision has been made.

'Pageants a big investment. I raise four kids and I'm able to do pageants as I budget. Honestly, we budget and I try to save money any way I can," said "Mama" June Shannon on a recent episode.

Although news of the break-in has since made its way through town, neighbors aren't too worried about another potential attack.

"I'm not worried about it at all," said neighbor Sandra Shauger.

"It's a small town, so we hear everything. I don't know why someone would want to break in. Their yard is very open and someone would have seen them."

Shauger adds that while the hit TLC show has made locals "look" bad because of the family's often outrageous behavior, she's all for it.

"I don't have a problem with the show. More power to them," she said.

"They don't act like that all the time. The kids do have manners," she added. "It's entertainment."
