National Cheeseburger Day 2012: Top 7 Mouth-Watering Burgers on the East Coast

It's National Cheeseburger Day!

Tuesday, Sept. 18 marks the day that everyone gets filled with juicy cheeseburgers, no matter what type it is.

All type of burger restaurants across the nation are celebrating this yummy day. We put together a list of delicious looking cheeseburgers that were found all over the Internet. Don't eat this article though.

Lulu Cheeseburger

Lulu & Me will offer their new Saturday Burger Special on National Cheeseburger Day too: The LuLu Cheeseburger ($13.50) features an eight ounce patty -- made with 75 percent beef and 25 percent lamb - seasoned with rosemary, oregano, fennel, mint, and black pepper and blanketed in melted fresh cow's milk mozzarella. This cooked-to-order burger is served on a toasted, Amy's sesame seed bun with a side of fries.

Blue Ribbon Burger

Neely's Barbecue Parlor, located on the Upper East Side joint will introduce the Blue Ribbon Burger and Beer Special ($10) in honor of National Cheeseburger Day. The burger features Pat LaFrieda-blended beef that has been hand-formed into an eight ounce patty, basted with a beer glaze and topped with beer-braised onions, crumbled blue cheese, Applewood-smoked bacon, and brew master mustard. It comes with an ice cold Tall-Boy of PBR.

The A.G. Double

Located across town on the Upper West Side, A.G. Kitchen, diners can enjoy a loaded bacon cheeseburger for just $9.18 in honor of National Cheeseburger Day. The burger is stacked with two beef patties, melted American cheese, barbecue onions, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion on a potato bun.

MexiBBQ Burger

MexiBBQ in Astoria is offering their signature burger with a beer for just $10 on National Cheeseburger Day.  It's south-of-the-border-style beef burger topped with melted cheddar, pico de gallo, chipotle aioli, caramelized onion, and avocado, sandwiched between a Frank's brioche bun.

The Entourage

This burger is at the Westchester Burger Company, which locations in White Plains, Rye Brook, and Mount Kisco. According to Newsday, it's a 10-ounce burger that's nestled in between two grilled-cheese sandwiches. It costs $14.

Snooki Burger

This burger, named after the "Jersey Shore" star, is featured at BGR The Burger Joint with locations in Mount Kisco and Yonkers. It's prime, dry-aged beef topped with grilled jalapeno slices, a slab of cream cheese and the chain's thousand island-inspired "mojo sauce" on a brioche bun, according to Newsday. And during this promotion, every order of the Snooki Burger will be accompanied by a free "baby" slider version of the special.

The Perfect Cheeseburger

This burger was inspired by Bobby Flay. According to Yahoo!, it features a Flay-inspired, juicy, grilled six-inch patty topped with a slice of sharp cheddar or Monterey Jack on "good quality" burger bun.

These seven mouth-watering cheeseburgers will have you wanting probably two. Don't get carried away!

The promotion will last for two weeks.

According to CBS,  Five Guys Burgers and Fries, KRAFT American Cheese and Feeding America have teamed up for National Cheeseburger Day.

KRAFT will donate a meal to Feeding America for every customer who visits Five Guys and checks in here with a mobile device through Foursquare or Facebook.

The two-week, nationwide promotion supports Hunger Action Month and is expected to provide a donation of 100,000 meals to Feeding America.

So go out and get a delicious cheeseburger!
