The epic finale of the "Twilight" series is getting closer as fans starve for more information.
A recently new detail of "Breaking Dawn Part 2" was that it was getting a secret new ending.
The movie might turn out to be about four hours if filmmakers stuck to every detail in Stephanie Meyer's bestselling novel, but there's a new twist.
According to Hollywood Life, the final third of the movie will not be one that's in the book. It will be a brand new sequence.
The website reported that the new sequence was "dreamed up by [author] Stephanie Meyer and longtime screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg one night over dinner" that is much different from the book version.
"When I first read the script, I got to that part and was like, 'What?'" Robert Pattinson told Entertainment Weekly. "And then I had to go back a page."
"It does it a serious justice," said Pattinson.
Kristen Stewart agreed. "It's clearly made by someone who really likes [the saga], who really cares," she said. "That's why [director] Bill Condon is perfect. Thank God for him."
The final theatrical trailer recently released, and fans finally have an over two-minute trailer to satisfy their vampire cravings until the movie is released. [WATCH BELOW]
Some parts might reveal a glimpse of the secret ending.
In the "Breaking Dawn Part 2" novel, the Denali, Egyptian, Irish, Amazon, Romanian Coven, and others come to defend the Cullens after Irina reported to the ruling vampire class known as the Volturi that the Cullens (Bella and Edward) created an immortal child, half-vampire, half-human Renesmee (played by Mackenzie Foy). Due to her hatred with Bella (played by Stewart) because of Bella's relationship with the wolves as well as the unfulfilled revenge of her mate Laurent, she betrayed her sisters and her allies. The movie also centers on Bella's new transformation as a new-born (new vampire).
The Volturi and the Cullens (along with the other clans) don't actually fight in the book. [SPOILER] Only one person gets killed, which is Irina because she was mistaken. In the trailer, however, there is a vicious fight between those on the Volturi side and those on the Cullens' side. Starting at 1:46, the Cullens are running towards the Volturi.
Edward (played by Pattinson) is seen punching snow-covered ground so that is collapses and kills the enemies. Another part in the trailer shows Edward throwing Bella so that she hits another enemy vampire. These details could be a part of the new ending.
Also in the book, the ending is a happily ever after one. Surely, the producers do not want to piss off fans and change that part, but Twi-hards would love to see a nice little change up for the finale.
Director Bill Condon recently revealed that the movie will run one hour and 56 minutes. Twi-hard fans wish it would be longer!
